Solutions – BASIC EXERCISES

Hi

Through these exercises, students will work on the following aspects:

  • Differentiation between density and concentration (both in g/l)
  • Whole solutions and samples from them share some values: density and concentration. This identity between whole solutions and samples can be used to facilitate calculations
  • Determination of amount of solute (mol, gram), volume of solution and  concentrations through this expression: amount of solute = concentration * volume of solution
  • Use of conversion factors to determine values of magnitudes
